Question - (15 January 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 January 2010)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Me and my Boyfriend have been together for more than 4 years and he always is constantly saying that he loves me, but the other night I told him that I will love him forever and I asked if he felt the same way and he said that he doesn't know because something might happen in the future so he doesn't want to say that. Why do you think he wont say that he will love me forever?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (15 January 2010):

Maybe he wont say it because as he said....something might happen in the future. Which could mean hes worried one of you might meet someone else and he doesnt want to jinx things by making an eternal promise. I wouldnt worry too much. If youve been together over 4 years and hes constantly saying he loves you, thats beautiful. Dont look for problems x
