writes:My boyfriend has been acting very controlling lately because there are guys who were my long time friends that has a crush on me. Even though I told him I don't act upon it and we're only friends , he say he trust me but that I should stop talking to the guys because he doesn't trust them. He started hating when I text message to talking to any guys anymore and it seems we keep fighting. Now it seems he wants sex more for reassurance that I still love him. I want his old self to come back and I even told him that but it doesn't seem like it is anymore . I don't know if this relationship is worth it anymore or whether I should move on.

reader, anonymous, writes (31 August 2011): I was in a relationship that got like this, and it took my boyfriend getting that jelouse and wound up not only over friends that i text that were guys but ANY guy in the street/shop that smiled at me and asked if they could help with a purchase. MY advice is to try and talk to him but if it gets any worse then leave and that is including if he tries and stop's you from seeing family and friends without him there, from my experiance its not far leap from what he is doing to eventually having a bruise on your arm from when he wrestled your phone off you to actually check your messages.
