reader, anonymous, writes (14 June 2008): Luvs, there are "best mates" and there are "other people". You are at the age when you should know the difference. You will meet an "other person" of your own, soon, probs, and you will want to spend more time with them than you did with "best mate". It does not mean you are no longer friends! Grow up a little.
