When I found out she liked him there was a lot going on in her life and so I didn't want to add to her troubles and decided she could "have" him, so to speak. She never did anything about it and my feelings for this person grew. Eventually I had to tell her because she's my best friend and I can't keep secrets from her. She had a new boyfriend at the time and she was all loved up with him. She's still in love with him although he's moved away and she says she's also still in love with another ex of hers.Anyway I've asked the other guy to accompany me to a function as a friend but also because he keeps flirting with me and I want to see if anything will happen. She's really upset with me because I asked him out and didn't ask her if it was OK first. I didn't realise she still had feelings for him and now I don't know what to do!!!Am I looking at this situation all wrong or is she being totally irrational? What should I do about the guy??

She sounds like abit of a control freak does your friend!
Go for the guy you want to and ignore her behaviour, she cannot have every man she sees...
And anyway, do none of these fellas actually get any say in this?
Good luck, and chose wisely.
