A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

For the past couple of weeks my boyfriend and my best friend have been becoming increasingly friendly. At first I was really happy about it. I mean, my best friend and my bf were getting along but now they constantly text, email and talk to each other online. Its even getting to the point that she is all he cnstantly talks about. We were just on the phone a bit earlier and he couldn't stop talking about how she had a rough day etc. etc. I haven't exactly had the best of day either so when I tried talking to him about it, he just ignored me and kept talking about how my friend's day was so horrible. I don't know what to do. Btw, we are in a long distance relationshop. Thanks for your help anyway.

A reader, anonymous, writes (18 March 2009):

i think u should sit both of them down seperately and have a talk with them. tell them how your feeling. if its really bothering you, ask your friend or boyfriend to back off each other. i personally have experience with this problem, not as severe as yours, and i eventually asked my friend to back off. she did, said she was sorry, and we moved on and are still great friends. dont do this if u think your friend wont understand, but if shes really your friend you guys will work it out!!

Maybe u should just have a talk with one of them and tell them how u r feelin,it may be innocent but if its really affecting u,u have 2 speak up because they may not know it is.if there was anything going on then they wouldnt be open about it,they would be secretive.
