writes: heyi am currently living at home with my parents but am looking at moving out with my partner. we are extremely close and have discussed moving in together but i feel as though i cant afford it.anyway recently i found a property which is well within my budget and i want to make a move. however i want advice as to whether it is wise to move out at this age.i feel ready but still have a bit of doubt in my mind as to whether i would be able to live independantly. i am at college and have a part time job and my income is around 200 a month.do you think this would be enough...on top of my partners income to rent a flat? and i was hoping for some advice from anyone who has moved out at this age as well...thanks (Mod note: Please do not create a new line for each new sentence. reader, anonymous, writes (27 April 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionheyto respond to the answer from satin desire...my boyfriend earns more than that per month...that is just my income at the least each month...sorry i didnt make that clear.and here in england the rent for houses is pretty cheap...since posing this question i have been looking at some apartments and i can get a good sized modern one for £250 per month...with both the income from my oyfriend and mine we should be able to manage...but i was worried that this still wont be enough...i know about bills etc..we dont own a car or pets...the only bills we would have is electric/gas etc, rent and food...as well as luxuries.
