Unfortunately, his best friend rick (also a good friend of mine, in fact we often all 3 hang out together) took me out on a date recently, which i went on without realising it wasnt just another of our 'friend' jaunts, and that he actually liked me!! it was a bit embarassing but there's an unspoken agreement not to speak about it, especially as his feelings are not returned. what can i do? i really like james but how can i possibly deal with the rut i've got into with rick? also, i dont want the two boys to fall out over this!

Then tell the other mate how you feel.
Good Luck.

My advice would be that u make up ur mind about who do u know the best or the longest, who would u like to die for (if that would be ur case(just an xsample))and who would u really like to spend more time with. I've learned that most people put false identities to know people, and when u know them for a longer time they change into someone u mite not like.
