writes:This month I'm late with my period by about 10 days [or 4] somtimes it depends when I get it. Some months i've gotten it the 22nd or so, while others when the month is about to end but this time it hasnt come yet. Pregnancy is somewhat out of the question since i havent had sexual intercourse. However, me and my partner do "fool around" somtimes, not fully naked. He has finished while we "fool around" and has touched my private area. I doubt it, but im not completely sure, if there has been any of that liquid on his hands. Most of th time when this happens he always uses a different hand to finger me but now I'm going over every possible thing that can make my period late. I've read that probably stress can cause it to be late, or not come at all, and weight loss. I lost 2 pounds since last month. I'm trying not to stress about it but I would like to have reassurements on the situation. [if you guyz could help] thank you

After my periods did come regulary, they stayed like that for about a year and then I started missing them and they came late. I thought it was because I could have been pregnant, even though I never had sex with my boyfriend, but the same situation as yours. I went to the doctor and she said that it was natural and nothing to worry about. She said that 'fooling around' does affect your periods.
But I was never convinced, lol, so I took a pregnancy test and I was fine and then I always reminded my boyfriend not to finger me after he has finished so I wouldn't need to worry about it again.

reader, anonymous, writes (2 May 2009): Im pretty sure youre period is jsut late because youre worried about it! Its very very unlikely that youre pregnant! Try to get some good sleep and eat healthily and try not to worry and Im sure your period will come! :)
