Question - (4 April 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 4 April 2008)
A female Australia, anonymous writes:

There is this guy in one of my university lectures who always seems to sit in the row in front of me. The other day we had what I would describe as a 'tpyical movie like scene'. I dropped my books onto the floor (by accident!) and I was about to pick them up and he turns around and says "oh here let me get them for you" and then he looks right into my eyes and smiles. For the rest of the class he kept looking over at me.

I think hes pretty cute and would like to get to know him better to see what hes like personality wise.

Do you think maybe he likes me? how do i go about geting to know him? Hes always sitting wit ha group of his friends so im a bit shy about approaching him. Any tips?

Peterk5699 agony auntI read a little article about overcoming your shyness last night so I'll describe it here.

If you want to approach a person but are too shy, just stand tall and make all this energy and shyness/anxiety "go down into" the ground. Obviously this'll take some practice so keep attempting it in your bedromm. The way I'd imagine it is done is close your eyes, clear your head of negative thoughts and imagine everything being thrown away (anxiety etc) and diappearing into the ground. Open your eyes and you should be able to just walk straight over to the person and say Hi.

Try not to do it in an area that has loads of people around though.

Good luck :)
