Is this throbbing chest pain something to do with anxiety over my love?

Question - (7 September 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 7 September 2008)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I get a throbbing pain in the upper-right part of my chest whenever I see or think about this girl I like too much. I just wondered if anyone had any medical insight into what this might be? I checked the net but I couldn't find anything. It's not crippling but it is noticeable and does go away afterwards fairly quickly.

My best guess is that it is something to do with anxiety? I really couldn't be sure though, any medics in the house?

Thanks.

Heart rate increase, slight shortness of breathe and an ache in my chest pretty much covers it. Is there anything I can do about it other than just ignore it? Or is it not really a serious problem?

Thanks.

(ps. It's a girl!)
