Sometimes it drips down from him and there can be quite a lot of it. Sometimes its like that when we have sex, other times it happens when he stands up etc. It does not bother me, because I love him very much. However, I want to know if it is usual for this to happen. I know it is not an STD.

If it is white, it's likely left over semen from the last time he came. If there's a lot, chances are he never got it all out. Also happens to me once in a while, if I'm in a rush.
If it's any other color, he needs to go to a doctor.
A good indicator of left over semen or pre-cum is the smell. If it's a few hours or more, it can sometimes smell strongly of fish... strange, I know, but it's the smell of the decaying sugars.
Hope this advice helps.

It could be pre-ejaculation. However if it is happening outside of when he is aroused. Then I suggest that he goes to the doctor just to make sure that there is no infection.

However it is usually only small amount, a drop or three as it spreads easily, so he may want to get it checked out just in case.
