We've hung out and talked for about 4 months now and I recently got accepted into graduate school. He messaged me to tell me congratulations and we started talking about next fall. He mentioned that he'd want to see me again before I leave. I was confused - I don't leave for six months. And the school I'm going to is six hours away from where we are now. We keep talking and he tells me that he's not into doing the long-distance relationship thing. When I asked what that meant for us he told me that we can still talk and that he'd be "open to seeing me but doesn't want to hurt me"I'm devastated. Absolutely crushed. I know long distance relationships are hard, but is there any hope in convincing him that it may be worth it? Or do I start this horribly painful process that is almost worse than any actual breakup I've ever experienced? I want to make things work while I can with him. I just don't know what to do...
