Is there any hope for this possible relationship

Ok I have a long one for yous. There is this amazing guy I like. He isn't even the nicest looking but to me he is perfect. Everything about him seems so great, his smile is to die for, his eyes are just deamy, he is a lovely person and his hugs are just so good. We are so close but only pals at the moment. The problem is he has a gf. But she kissed another guy when she was going out with him 3 months into there relationship and he has held a grudge since. There still going but he makes out like he hates her. Always slagging her off to us being really two-faced. But he is not like that about anybody else though. I don't know why he is stil with her but I think it is because she has sex with him and not many girls are like that at this age. And he told my friend he wants to cheat on her to get her back. He even suggested with me but didn't tin it was a good idea incase she found out. NOT THAT I WOULD DO THAT ANYWAY. She basically hates me and has from day one because I used to like her bf and he used to like me a lot but nothing happened because we were young and shy at the time. Whats weird is that he sticks up for me when she talks badly about me and is always telling her to be nice. He is a major flirt with me and even admits to my friend he leads me on. I think he knows I like him and plays on it but am not realy sure. He always asks for hugs and hugs me so tight and I just don't want him to let me go. Hw is always telling me how I deserve the best and a guy that will treat me as good as I deserve. He never puts me down and just makes me so happy. Its tearing me apart inside, I think I honestly love him.
