No one should wait until they start to show to find out whether they are pregnant. Proper natal care should begin even before they decide to have a baby and certainly as soon as possible after conception. Everyone is different and I've known women who didn't show until 6 months along with their first babies. Some women still have a little bleeding each month with their pregnancies. Tests are the only truly reliable way to determine pregnancy.

Sore breasts, nausia, changes in weight, no periods for about 2 to 3 months, stomach gets progressively larger

If you miss your period for 2 months or you have nausea or morning sickness or you can go for a scan.

I think it's about 3 months before your stomach begins to rise. I dont't know if there is another way to tell apart from the pregnancy test.

The other ways to tell if you are pregnant is if you havnt had a period and your stomach could start to rise when your 14 to 20 weeks.
