writes:i've been with my wonderful bf for 3 years now (just had our 3rd year anniversary on 2-14). he's 29, never been married, and no kids. i'm 28 (almost 29) with 3 girls ages 8,6,and 5. my bf loves my girls dearly and treats them as his own.we've had our ups and downs due to me having pmdd and him having some slight commitment issues in the beginning. things have been solidly good for about a year and a half now. we don't live together but i'm only staying at my apt like 4 days a month and my cat moved in with him 4 months ago.lately he's been dropping sutle hints that i might be getting a ring for my b-day which is this coming thursday. i'll list the hints below and you guys tell me what you think!! we talked about living together and getting married about 2 years ago so we've always known that we'd get there eventually.ok-here are the hints!!!-has recently started calling himself my husband and a stepdad (to my kids). calls the kids "our kids or his daughters"-just got family pics taken with us for easter. first time this has ever been done-commented on the dress I was wearing for pictures (it was white) saying it looked like a wedding dress and I looked really pretty in it.-while shopping at costco on Friday, we stopped and looked at rings in the jewelry case (didnt take any of them out but I pointed to a few i liked).-he told me that our neighbor (male)was teasing him about us getting family pictures together-the neighbor told him we'd be married soon. when i asked him if that bothered him-he said no w/out hesitating then said "i love you honey"-emailed me today to ask my ring size!!! i already have a right hand ring he gave me for christmas. when I emailed him back to tell him it was a 4 he said he was bummed b/c the one he was looking at only goes to a 5 and he'd have to call the store.-my daughters have a special meeting for school this week that requires parents to be there. when he found out about it-he asked what he should wear to it (giving me the impression that he thinks of himself as a father already)-he keeps hinting about us having a child together soonso what do you guys think?!!! i know it's bad luck to get your hopes up for something but he knows that i've wanted to get engaged for like 6 months now!! please let me know your thoughts-we are going to dinner with the kids thursday night.
