My boyfriend of 1 year has a friend who moved to another country a couple of years back. They still keep in touch... chatting on Skype or calling each other every now and again. He never really mentioned their special relationship to me before it was randomly brought up by someone else, and when I asked him about it he got that 'faraway' look in his eyes and said that he loves her and that she was like a sister to him. When I asked whether he wanted to be more than friends he told me that they could never be together cause their characters are too different.My boyfriend is extremely sexual, in an almost immature kind of way. He's constantly eyeing up other women and commenting on how sexy/beautiful/pretty they are. I really find it quite hard to believe that he would bother to keep up a friendship with another (very pretty) girl unless he had feelings, because virtually every guy I've ever been close to has wanted more than that, and if he didn't get it (and most, if not all, didn't), he'd eventually distance himself, especially when he'd found someone else. Am I wrong to feel this way?
