After all, it's a free vacation, right! And I love them. Then I thought... is it a loser thing to go on vacation with your parents at 30?!? Just wondering... Thank you!! I wish I had the chance to go on holiday with my 'rents but these days we are always short of time to do this sort of thing. If I have the opportunity in the future- and I'm already 29- I will jump at it. Have a great time.

It put a lot of stress on our marriage, being babycoddled with free cruises and the like. I felt spoon-fed. I eventually declined when we would get invited.
Maybe they will let you bring the BF? That would make it much more fun;)

A loser thing? Not at all! It's a perfectly lovely thing if you and your parents can enjoy each others' company at any age. Cherish it.

When your parents are dead and gone, you will be so happy that you chose to spend good quality time with them, making happy memories and just enjoying their company. Go have fun, and don't think twice about that!
My parents would rent a beach house every year, just to lure their grown children to spend time with them. Dad doesn't really like the beach, but he knows we do. And I love him and appreciate him for that.
Spend time with them now, so you will have no regrets when they are gone.
