writes:I've been seeing this man since November and we were having a talk about relationships, etc. He is going through a lot with his last relationship, we both are really, and are enjoying our time together. So, for the past two days, we have been talking and he has made comments like, "Just so you know I am not going anywhere until you get a bf." Then today, I asked if he could see us hanging out in the summer doing outdoor things like Red Sox at Fenway, concerts, etc., and his reply was "The warm weather is a long way off, let's see how things develop, but if you decide to do things with someone else then I will respect your decision." Why would he say that??? Who dates a good 3+ months and tells her to see other people? Is he for real? Is he looking for my reaction ??? No normal man would tell a girl that he dates to date another guy, right?? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (5 February 2011): He sounds unsure about you or else he's attached to someone. There is always the chance he knows this is just for the meantime until both of you find someone for keeps. I hope things have not become intimate for your sake and I'd hold off on that so you don't get too emotional.

 The only way to find out is to ask him straight out...its still early days and he might be testing your reaction to see how much you are into him....or he is letting you down gently...it could be one way or the other. If I was you,I would ask him if he still wants to continue seeing you because at the moment its mind games.
