writes: Hi I'm 12 and I have a problem with my boyfriend.You see, for the last couple of days I have been trying to call my boyfriend, but I've either been getting his voicemail right away or it rings a few times then I get his voicemail.I asked him about it and he says he lost his phone and can't find it.The other problem I have is when I tell him to meet me at my locker after last period. He agrees to it but never shows! When I asked him about that he says that he doesn't see me at my locker when he goes to meet me.So here are my question(s)...1.Are these signs that he wants to break up with me... or Am i just paranoid?2.Shoulds I break up with him for these reasons?Thanks for all your help!

reader, anonymous, writes (26 July 2007): I think you shouldnt break up with him because he mite just be the type of boy that gets kind of nervous when he has a girlfriend. It's nothing new. Some guys are just nervouse......and about the phone calls.......if you really love him you should beleive him or have a talk to him about it. If you want your relationship to be perfect.All you need to do is follow your heart.

reader, anonymous, writes (1 March 2006): Im not sure how old your boyfriend is, but if hes the same age as you, he probably is just acting like an average 12 year old. Men mature slower than women, so maybe he isnt ready for a relationship, or maybe he doesnt understand what being a boyfriend means. I dont necessarily think it means he wants to break up with you, and i dont think you should break up with him just yet. I think you should have a sit down and ask him whats going on. Tell him that as your boyfriend you expect to be able to ring him, and if he says hes going to meet you, he definately should! Dont pounce on him, just explain what you want.
