writes:So I reconnect with a friend from high school online…we went out for like month (purely innocent) during my first yr of high school. So I broke up with him, I don’t remember why, but we remained friends. We lost contact and recently exchange numbers, I said that we should catch up with coffee sometime, and he agree. About two weeks ago I received a text and it was him, I was surprised about the text I was happy to hear from him, we been texting back and forth catching up, (He’s the type of guy kind off shy and sweet). He told me that could text him whenever I wanted to no matter what day or time; he said we should go out sometime, I said of course we should. So there’s been slight flirting, and we agree to a time and date, He asked me where I wanted to go I said anywhere is fine, he said it was my decision; my wish is my command, that’s what he told me. So we did go out to dinner and movie all, which he paid! He didn’t let get the billed, during dinner it was nice we talked and laugh, he suggested of going somewhere in the future… during the movie he moved closer so our shoulders and arms were touching but didn’t make any further contact, although he poke me to scared me…later that night I found out he was a bit sick, he had a fever and a sore throat, I told him that we could just reschedule and he said no, that he was fine that he felt all better. At the end he drop me off to my house and we said goodnight I gave him a hug and said thanks for a great time, and told him we should do it again and he agree. Am just confused? Don’t know what to do should I make a move? Is he shy? I mean is he interested? Or Am reading too much into it. He hasn’t text me in like a day? What should I do? I texted him and wished him to get well soon. And thank him for a great night and good time. He replied by saying he had a good time as well. Confused!

reader, anonymous, writes (30 August 2010): Too early to tell, but it sounds like he's interested in you. Don't be in such a hurry to push to the next level-if he's shy, it may scare him.
