Is he interested in me?

Question - (21 May 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 22 May 2011)
A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I volunteered about 2 weeks ago at a pound, and met a guy looking for a dog who went to the same college as me. Then by chance the next day we were in contact on the student forum......which led to exchanging numbers and having coffee together. At coffee I met some of his friends, and we talked for a long time together. We had a fair bit in common, and I came away feeling so happy (he even hugged me twice at the end). He then invited me to do something with him the next week, however, he emailed me saying that he was too busy that week to meet.

Today (nearly 2 weeks since coffee), I texted him 'hoping his week had gone well and wished him a great weekend'. He replied that to me that his week was 'awesome as he caught up with an old friend'......saying after in the text 'hope you have a good one'. (He replied 4 minutes after I sent the text message.....could this mean anything?)

My instinct says there is something, but this has made me feel mixed-up. I really like him, and am so anxious that he won't contact me :(

Is he interested in me?

A female reader, BriBri United States +, writes (22 May 2011):

Call HIM. Talk to HIM. I was just telling my friend the other day that girls and guys make their relationships diffiult because they don't like telling how they feel about each other or how they don't you need to talk instead of going along silent the rest of your life. Like the priest says at a wedding speak now or forever hold your peace. So tell him how you feel about him or ask him out instead of him asking you.
