But it was always me who initiated the conversations on the website, he would only phone when it suited him and when I phoned he never answered. I was told that if a guy is into you then he would be initiating all the contact.. so I found it a little frustrating, we tentatively arranged to meet on the weekend, but he had made alternative plans. Also the weekend before his phone had been off from Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon and he used the excuse that his battery was flat. Anyway I set up a bogus account on the dating site and emailed him, he replied that if he was on line he would chat to me. Am I right in thinking this guy is playing me? because that's the gut feeling I'm getting. Despite all the lovely things he said about taking me away and the lovely discussions we had... I think he's not genuine. Very dispondent because this is about the 5th guy who's behaved in the same way... think I'm getting wiser though. Reply to this Question Share |

He doesn't sound as if he is into you. I'd move on. I'm not sure what the definition of a player is so I couldn't tell you if he was a player or not, but since he's not that into you, you'll always be the initiator and this is not a good position to be in in a relationship. It needs to go both ways.
