I just want a girlfriend badly. and he knows my bff tells me everything so she said he's doing it to make me jelous and make me go craz but idkk. and then my bff invited him to her bday party and he's like is mandy(my name) going? she's like yeah. he's like oh okay then I will go. so my question is why is he doing this to me?! like I like him more then anything and he knows. is he doing it to make me jelous??? i dont know what to do! thanks for the help.

 sounds like hes trying to get you to make the first move and if you really like him then maybe you should go for it. but consider all the options first. why is he your ex in the first place? and does he even deserve a second chance- all these things need to be considered before you do or don't give a second chance to stop you from being hurt
