Question - (17 April 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 17 April 2010)
A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Lately my bf has been stressed and distant. i go to his place on the weekends and end up sitting on the couch all weekend because he has no time or money to do anything. i told him how i have been feeling neglected and he got angry.

last night i went to a concert with my friends (one that he said he would never go to and definetly not pay for)

he is now saying he wants to break up with me because he doesnt want a girlfriend who will go to concerts etc without him.

i dont get it. he said no. what do i do? he is saying "your selfish all you were thinking about was you, you made sure there was no way i could go" and "dont you feel bad?"

why should i feel bad? because i went without him? he didnt want to go anyway! he says he wants a girlfriend who will do everything with him.. but he is allowed to go on weekend trips to the snow with his mates???

Laura1318 agony auntYou should pull back and let him do the chasing from now. By going there, you only add more frustrations to yourself because he does not appreciate or cherish you .

He has taken you for granted that you are his forever and he can do anything he likes whatever.

If he wants to break up over that matter, let him go because he is just too immature and selfish!
