writes: There's this guy I work with and I was talking to him over snapchat messaging. he was talking about how he got a new car. I was like "can I please drive it?!" N he says yea sure "if u buy me dinner." N I said "hey no fair. I'm driving and buying dinner?!" N he said something. Then he's like "so when r we gonna get dinner" or something similar to that n i was like oh idk when r u free. He said every Friday and I started talking bt how friday was his drinking day and we started talking about that. The conversation never went back to the whole buying him dinner. I don't know if I messed it up and I don't know if he was asking me as a friend or as a date.

I don't know whether it was as a friend or as a date, but he was trying to ask you out. If you'd like to go out for dinner with him, get back to him and suggest a day and place and see what he says.
