i was in love with my best friend of four and a half years, and i think he loved me back, but he said he didnt believe in love, i was just 'different from anyother girl he'd ever known' etc im sure you get where im going with this so ill be breif as can be!

its been a year and a half, we broke off, clean break, supposedly except it hasnt been, doesnt matter what happens we cross paths again and again.

this time it was me who cut ties, though i didnt want to he was being very horrible to me, yet i knew somewhere theres something he doesnt want to admit or denies, thats what id like to believe.

we used to get signs our phones would call eachother though we deleted eachothers numbers and a married couple with our names added us both on skype, weird things like that, like off some film, now im offered to go back to work where he will be and i dont know whether to go, do any of you guys believe in fate? is it meant to be?

thanksx

Laura1318 agony auntLife and death is not in our hands.

There are some cancer patients who survived and there are some patients who die even when there are modern, sophisticated medical and scienctific methods

Not all diseases in this world are curable .

Who decides who will die and who will live?

Modern medicines and doctors are one of the ways to cure and heal and those who do not believe in modern medicines but only on their prayers and faith to God are misguided about their faith.

Like I said, I cannot convince you that everything happens for a reason and God allows everything to happen .

I cannot explain to you why certain things are this way or that way and I would say that everything happens because of fate or destiny.

You may call it by another name , luck ,coincidence etc.

Not everyone can be an astronaut. Not everyone can be a president Obama . Not everyone can have a mercs or a BMW.

It is my belief and I chose to believe in my God. You can believe whatever you want.

It is pointless to argue and it will get us nowhere.

Laura1318 agony auntTo each his/her own . You either believe it is fate or you don't. Whatever your opinions , you are entitled to it.

Whatever you want to say,it will never convinced me . Let's agree that we don't agree on this thing called 'Fate.'

Live and let live.

Laura1318 agony auntYes! Fate can be kind or can be cruel. Whether you believed it or not , it does not matter .

Everything happens according to the way it is written in the 'Book of Life .'

Laura1318 agony auntI believe in fate. Everything is fated.

Your destiny is preordained and you cannot escape from destiny. You either follow your destiny or it will drag you there.

All the other doors will be closed and only one door will open to you .

That is destiny for me.

boo22 agony auntRead up on Karl Jung and what he wrote about synchronicity or meaningful coincidences like you describe. He studied it in depth. I'm still not sure about fate and all that, the jury's still out in my head.
