writes: I have this boyfriend who I have known for a long time, but we have only been together about 2 months. At the beginning of our relationship everything was literally perfect. He told me he loved me and that he would do anything in the world for me. Then I realized that I really did love him too, and I had never loved anyone before, so this was all new to me. Well everything was great for a while, now he is completly different. He always talks to his ex gf and ex "friends with benefits" when he knows I don't like it, but he is convinced they are just friends. He never says any of the sweet things he used to, now he's too tired to come see me after work when it was never an issue before and he is just mean sometimes. But then in the same day he can be so sweet and cook me dinner and all that good stuff. So I don't understand why he changed all the sudden and why he can't give up his ex. Help!!

reader, anonymous, writes (23 May 2005): All relationships change as time goes on,the rose coloured glasses come off...His interest in his past relationships should be of concern to you, and the MEANESS???...RED ALERT GIRL!!! ...Maybe put some time into the other aspects of your life for a while and see where this man really fits into things...maybe he doesnt....think about it.
