 Maybe u should take the initiative to say hello to her first sometimes and see what happens. You could sit and chat with her on the bus during your journey sometimes. You just have to make the effort to speak to her. That should be a good start. i am sure she will respond to you since she has acknowledge your presence previously by saying hi.
It seems to me that you are the shy type and perhaps she is too. you have to walk on your confidence and build up on that. You see most women love confidence guys. Go out with friends to clubs, parties, and social gatherings this helps.
