Hello aunties. I have a new question.

I am a commitment phobe, and my boyfriend is the complete opposite (seems kind of rare, huh?) We've been dating for two years, and he was my best friend who I never fully realized my attraction for until my last boyfriend and I broke up.

Now. I will be 21 in a few months and my boyfriend is 22. He and I are polar opposites - I need communication and affection, whereas he's the "strong silent type." We live together and I wouldn't have it any other way, but recently he told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Not a proposal or anything, nothing terribly concrete, just like he was stating a fact. I instantly thought of all the things that people would say, how I wasn't ready for marriage, jumping to all sorts of crazy conclusions he wasn't even saying. But without hesitating I said it back. Scared and happy as hell.

Now he hasn't said anything about marriage or anything, but has taken to saying that to me every so often. And I'm scared. I know its nothing personal, and that we're not ready for anything too commital, but... what should I think? What should I expect? I'm overwhelmed.

(Naturally, he's not because he seems to think saying things like that is normal lol)

Thanks.
