Clinical depression is no joke and nothing to mess around with. If you are having this more than once in a while (everybody feels a LITTLE down now and then) you should get competent medical help at once. There are medications that can help restore chemical imbalances in your body that cause such problems.
If you are taking these medications and are still having depressions that are interfering with your life and your boyfriend's life, talk to your medical professional about the problem ... it's probably time to try another type of med.
And please do it NOW. The outlook for people in your age group with serious untreated depression is not good.
