A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Just when everything has been seeming perfect with my bf, my worklife has taken an uncertain plunge. I feel sleepless and agonized and he tries to help, but in all the wrong ways. I want so much for us to work out, and I am scared to death that my unemployment will make him think less of me. What can I say or do?

I don't think you have to worry about your boyfriend thinking less of you, as you are thinking less of yourself.

Most of the time we make people see our faults by freaking out about it. If he loves for real, then he will love you job or not.
