They don't think he's good enough for me because his family doesn't have money and he's a janitor and my family's wealthy and I'm going to school to become a lawyer. They won't stop riding me about it. Am I wrong for resenting my parents for this?

It's sad because they are your parents and only want the best for their daughter and don't want you to screw up, however they are so wrong in judging this man and his family on the merits of wealth. Life may show you what real wealth is and you know in your heart of heart what is right...could this be why you want to be a lawyer. You have to do what YOU believe in...this is what could shape your career.
