 If he's a parish priest, I would assume that his one and only love would be his God...Gosh, I can't tell you how many crushes I've had and believe me, I know the feeling. I can relate. I won't tell you to "just get over it" since it's difficult. But, I'll tell you right now: he does not love you romantically. He might love you as a parishioner, as a friend-but not in a romantic sense. You're 13-15, most likely, he'll simply see you as a child. If he shows that sort of interest in you, it would be VERY wrong and VERY disturbing. When I had a crush on a teacher, I was just in love with the whole fantasy of it, you know? I realized later that I would have been VERY creeped out had he tried to go out with me and take me to Prom or something. I laughed myself silly when I thought about him watching silly stuff like Shrek with my friends and I. Yuck. So, take up a hobby...dance classes, art, etc. and throw him out of your mind. And who knows? Maybe then, you'll find a boy your own age who gives you butterflies. Crushes are a normal part of life. They give you an idea of the sorts of men you attracted to for future reference let's say...So it's not bad that your first crush is a priest, that can just mean that you're looking for a kind, gentle, and maybe even religious partner for the future.
