When i was working late he would come and talk to me all the time but with other people present,so it was hard to talk to him.He would invite me to his office to talk, but i never got around to going. The brief moments we were alone he made it obvious that he liked me.Now that i dont work late any more he talks to me only about twice a week but when he does he tells me things like he stayed in over the weekend to iron his clothes. He hints he is single, which i already new.The rest of the time he ignores me but does look at me in passing sometimes. Why is he ignoring me.I like him alot but he is a manager and im not, could this be a problem

A manager should never date someone under his direct or indirect control. That said guy at work talk to girls to pass the time and sometimes they break the rules and fall in love. You both have to accept the risk if you start seeing each other.

Being manager is certainly not the problem, for if that was the case, he wouldn't have shown the interest in you in the first place. May be you could ask what his plan is the next weekend or tell him what is yours. For your sake, give him some hint. Good luck!
