I just started my period the day before yesterday, and I was bleeding a good amount, then last night I was changing for bed and when I look at my pad, the blood was a dark brown color, when the day before it was bright red. I've stopped bleeding since last night. I put a pad on in case it was just a fluke, but I've not bleed this morning, except when I when ot the bathroom there was a verylight pink on the toilet paper. Could I be pregnant? My boyfriend and I live togther, we use condoms. We never thought one broke on us. I'm just scared. Im taking a preg test. If I'm pregnant, how do I tell my boyfriend? WE bth love each other very much, hes the love of my life, we do want kids someday, but we need to finnish college. Please help me, do you think I'm pregnant?

And towards the end of your period it does go brown because there is less blood so it oxidises quicker.

It is a possibility, but before you totally freak out, the reason your period is acting a little weird, might be due to you stressing out. Did it show up the right day, are you very clock work regular? Are all your periods the same? Same flow, same color? Most women's aren't. Have you been very physically active lately? Have you lost weight lately?
There are so many variables as for the color and flow.
Taking a pregnancy test can maybe settle your mind a little. Make sure you buy one that is MEANT to be takes VERY early after conception.
What made you think you were pregnant, if you had no broken condoms btw?
And maybe? it's a good idea for you to get on the pill as well. Use both condom and pill, that way the likely hood of getting pregnant ( if both are used correctly) pretty minimal.
Good luck and keep us updated.
PS IF the test shows up negative and you are still worries, have a blood test done. Your HCG level don't lie. Even if you aren't pregnant, you should have a talk with your BF.

Well the brown blood is old blood this is just the uterus cleaning itself so i dont think you have anything to worry about.
if you are pregnant but i think it would be unlikely then you should just sit him down and explain im sure he would stand by you.
hope this helps good luck x
