writes: Hi, wondered if anyone could help me?I have been with my boyfriend for 5 months now and i love him to bits!There's just a few problems...Whenever I am not with him, i get really worried and feel sick to my stomach, i don't want to eat, drink, or even sleep when he's not with me, i get little anxiety attacks and cry when he leaves and hours after that too, i don't know what to do about it hope someone has some advice.please help?i was also wondering why on earth i keep having horrible mood swings, i am always really moody and get upset about every little thing he does, i'm scared i am too clingy and that he will get sick of it and end the relationship.could anybody please help? reader, anonymous, writes (15 February 2013): I have an implant but its not recent and i haven't had these mood swings the whole time, its not even all the time now, I'm fine with friends, its just my family and boyfriend that i have these mood swings with I'm not sure what to do he hasn't done anything to give me a reason to feel insecure, I have always felt insecure and worried about losing people when I am in a relationship. If you are having horrible mood swings... I wonder if something has changed... did you start on hormonal birth control recently...that could be causing the mood swings...
as for the anxiety when he's not with you, that's also something that could be possibly hormonally related but it's more than like you are you are feeling insecure about the relationship for some reason... if it's not based on anything he's doing or not doing, then perhaps it's your own lack of self-esteem and you think you don't deserve him...
I would talk to your doctor about the mood swings especially if you are on hormonal birth control
and I would strongly suggest you consider professional counseling to work on the anxiety and other issues...
they do have some lovely anti-anxiety medications that may help...
