A female Kuwait age 36-40, anonymous writes:

"People Pleaser", thats my name !

I mean like im just living to pleasing evryone and not myself. The thing that makes me happy is when people are satisfied with me and when they are not i get depressed. There is nothing wrong with me. Im good looking and have a career and husband. but i still have this feeling of .. oh what did they think of me? should i wear this or that for them?

When im with my husbands sisters and family im tongue tied and try to please them and become extra nice inorder for them to like me. i cant be myself. i cant share my oponions . i always agree with everyone. if im convinced about something and they criticize it i immediatly believe them and start beating myself about it. for example, they criticize stuff that happened in my wedding that i was convinced about and i believed them and felt bad. what should i do about my personality?

Thanks A lot :************

Learn to love yourself, just as you are. You've got to recognize that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you are never going to please everyone! It isn't possible. And you'll drive yourself to a nervous breakdown. Its ok if not everyone likes/loves you ok? I mean, don't be a jerk, but don't be afraid to express yourself. Otherwise you're going to be very unhappy and get stepped on alot. Don't try so hard sweetie! People that truly love/care about you will always feel that way.

StudentOfLife agony auntI believe you first need to know what your personality is. Looks like a mix of phlegmatic and melancholy.

I have a book that I could recommend to you about personalities if you want.
