reader, anonymous, writes (11 December 2006): Well I object to you Agu30. This is dependent on the region in which they live in. I know more 16+ year olds that are out and about than 18+ year olds in China, in Canada, in the US - some states, here and there, etc, etc, etc.
What you're saying is good to protect someone, yes, but it isn't an universal law. So as I said, it depends on where she resides.

I object to both of your statements.If you are 17 you must have parents consent in order to interact in any sex with anyone older then you.Keep in mind that if your parents disagree they could have your boyfriend arrested for sex with a minor even with conscent sense I am a police officer so I know this law quite well.Also at the age of 17 you are still considered a minor so there for you could be considered a run away if you move in your boyfriends house and will be picked up if your parents call the police.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 December 2006): It's only illegal to have sex under the age of 16 and it's legal for you too ate whoever you like, of course your parents may object thats only normal and they would probably suggest you take it slowly before you consider living together, it's a big commitment living with your partner long term.
