writes:i've been dating this guy for 3 wonderful years but now i have to move! i'm 16 and deeply inlove with him so we decided to try to make the 2 hour distence work. well now i ran into a snag i have the chorse to either ask my dad if i can move in with my mom or stay with my dad and try to make this work. seems like an easy question don't it but here's the twist. my mom isn't excaully the mother of the year she usually treats me like a slave! i grew to hate her due to things she says and do. so do i try to get along with her for 2 years so i can be with my 1 and only or do i wait it out and hopeful he'll wait for me? Is the guy worth the crap you gotta put up with at your mother's place?
Have you talked to your father to see if its possible to go between him and your mothers for periods so as to not be fully cut off from the man you care so much about?
Look, its entirely possible he'll care enough to wait for you. But in today's climate, and at your age, its not a basket I'd be putting all my money in. But stranger things have happened, and all you need to do is make sure you are ready for heartache if it goes that way.
