Is the guy worth the crap you gotta put up with at your mother's place?
Have you talked to your father to see if its possible to go between him and your mothers for periods so as to not be fully cut off from the man you care so much about?
Look, its entirely possible he'll care enough to wait for you. But in today's climate, and at your age, its not a basket I'd be putting all my money in. But stranger things have happened, and all you need to do is make sure you are ready for heartache if it goes that way.
