I seem to have an issue with guys in that if they are keen and kind and a bit full on, then I dont want to know, however, if they are a bit of a challenge, dont treat me too well and arent particularly nice to me - I cant stay away. reader, anonymous, writes (12 October 2008): I would just like to say Thank you to the person who took the time to answer my question. Just that in itself made me feel good, the fact that you understood made me feel even better.
If I think about what you say, even though I have a good, well paid job (in which I have to do a lot of presenting and decision making) a nice car and all the things that go with that, I think perhas I DO have low self-esteem and maybe I need to consider this. Everyone thinks I am confident, pretty, funny etc etc but sometimes its just a cover up act - I feel scared and ugly and the jokes are just to make up for that.

Right, Im off to look for that book...
