I want to stop not just because I feel guilty after I do it, but I feel weak just giving in just because my body wants. The longest I've ever stopped was about three months. I'm confident that I have the willpower to go on for a year or longer...any ways back to my question. Would it affect my health if I did this?

Your male and I'd defy any other male not to give into similar needs. Your health wouldn't be affected but at the same time I'd advise you not to be ashamed. All guys do it. All of them. Those who say they don't are either assexual or their lieing about it.
