writes:Me and my friend havent been talking because i guess hes never around to answer my texts or emails. Were on april vacation and he never talks to me fully when were not at school. I hurt myself by burning myself at work so i told everyone including him. He was at a bruins game and i texted him that I was in the hospital. Then he texts back saying that he had no service and asked if i was ok. I told him that i didnt think he cared. Then he said well i'm glad you're ok and i do care. After that day he didnt talk to me at all. I don't know what to think anymore? We are friends but he doesn't talk to me. He nevr answers my questions. I dont text him a lot. Just once in awhile and he doesnt answer. If he really cared about me wouldnt he ask how i'm doing? I dont know how he feels about me but he's sure not going to tell me anytime soon. I dont get his mixed feelings and whenever i try to talk to him about it he ignores what i'm trying to say. But hes really nice at school. What should I do or tell him?

 You should stop texting/emailing and let him come to you. I believe he thinks you are interested in being more than friends, and he doesn't want that. So, he is politely hoping that you understand that without having to come out and say it. Don't try and pull any tricks to get his attention, accept polite conversation with him in school and don't expect him to care so much. He cares enough to have small talk at school, maybe that is all he is capable of for now. Oh well, I assume you have other friends too. Just enjoy them!
