If a man cannot penetrate a woman because she is still quite tight - would he hold it against her or would he be quietly relieved that she hadn't been putting it about much? By the way, the woman in question is not a teenager.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (3 March 2009):

I don't think i'd hold it against her BUT i'd be very very frustrated - any man would because he'd like to have sex & cum. BUT being tight is good & i've been told by women that the vagina tightens if a girl isn't having sex (urban myth or fact - not sure). the only other point a guy might think is she isn't wet therefore she's not into me.

I cannot bear pain in any form.I am scared silly of injections.I still found my first time not that unbearable.Ask your GP to check you for endometriosis if you seem to have unbearable pain.

He could hold it against her to be quietly relieved but I'm sure he'd prefer penetration.

The woman in question has been penetrated before - this is just a case of something like lack of foreplay or first time nerves etc etc.

But would the man be disappointed?
