I met a girl who I quickely became attracted to. Then she got a boyfriend and I continued to like her. Now almost a year later when I was pretty close to forgeting about ever being more than friends, i find out that she has broken up with her boyfriend. i figured maybe thats why she started texting me in the middle of summer because we never see each other until recently. Basically I like her ALOT. Tonight we were supposed to hang out but her parents wouldn't let her leave the house. It hit me hard and I had no motovation the rest of the day. I was so looking forward to seeing her again. We text daily now and she calls me at the end of the day. Only problem is I can barely notice any change in her personality. She has become a little more shy. I don't know how to tell if she likes me or not. Also I don't really know how to approach her in a relationship attitude since we were really good friends the whole time she had a boyfriend.

A female reader, Starlights United Kingdom +, writes (25 July 2009):

Starlights agony auntshe has just come out of a relationship so give it time and just be there for her as a friend.

keep your emotions under control because you dont want to preassurise her or scare her in anyway.

in the meantime focus on your own life and not attach too much happiness onto one girl.

she will let you know when she is interested.

good luck
