Hi,

Today I promised to myself I was going to ask out the boy I liked.

Before I go on, I warn you, it's a long story, if you don't like long stories then this isn't for you.

It was non uniform. We were breaking up for the holidays. The last day. I went to the arts festival and he didn't. When we got back it was pouring it down (no surprises there) and he was outside and said "Do we go to form?"

I replied, "I'm not sure."

He said, "well, I'll come with you." he sounded a bit fed up so I asked if he was ok, and he said he was.He asked if I was okay, I said, "well, not really." and he asked why. "oh, nothing, just stuff."

I swear to god if I hadn't said that I could have asked him out on the spot, there and then. We went upstairs to form where there were a couple of my friends. I felt a bit shy, so I just sat casually on one of the desks. We all chatted, and then my ex Daniel walked through the door. No problem. Tom actaully seemed really friendly. Much friendlier than usual. Which is a good sign.

I decided to ask him when we were going home. We got registered and so on, and then it was time to go home. I got my stuff and it was wet dismissal-basically when it rains we stay inside the classroom until our bus is called.

Tom's on a different bus to me. Rachael, one of my friends asked if I'd asked him. I shook my head. I suddenly said, "How could I be so stupid?" and felt really annoyed with myself. I walked over to Kirsty and asked her what to do. Just then Mr Breen, a teacher came up so we went quiet. He left and I said, "I don't know which room his bus in!" really desperatley.

"go and find him." she told me. I was too worried about getting him on his own really, and there were too many classrooms-in my opinion. If I'd ran, I might have made it, especially as when our bus went, I saw him in a room just down the corridor.

So I didn't ask him out, and I really wish I had. I went on Bebo at home and asked a friend if she had his mobile number so I could text him. She hasn't been online yet.

I don't see him until January.

I'm worried, I know I'm being over dramatic, I need someone to talk sense into me.

Thanks.
