writes:well its been about a month since the last time I have contacted this girl... we were friends according to her but I always felt we weren't idk why but she wasn't like my other friends who are girls. I use to talk to her 4 or 5 times a week and would support her in her sports if I was able to. I cared about her a good bit. That is a little background info. So her birthday is coming up in about a month and I was thinking this would be a good time to maybe start contact back up. I was thinking about saying something kinda funny that might get a little reaction rather than just a simple happy birthday. my thought (you know what they say about people with a birthday in january right?... she will be like what?... then I say happy birthday) what do people think and what are some suggestions. I probably will make contact before that to say merry Christmas but other than a simple question contact has sadly ended under my choice. As others have said go back to the time when you didn't know her remember how good it felt not to be thinking of a girl so much and honestly it was great but she was worth the thinking for me. thanks for the help everyone
