I was coming back from the toilet and (i think) someone stabbed me with a needle. I felt this pain in my arm and noticed a small red dot (wasn't bleeding) so I went to the hospital to check it. The doctor said it was probably nothing and the chances of me catching anything like HIV were small at most. I was glad my friends came but since then I've had the impression that they're not talking to me. I told them it was probably nothing yet since I have to wait ages to get tested I have to carry on with my life. I think people think I've made it up and I'm only looking for attention. Have I done something wrong to hurt my friends?

I have recently read about a great deal of cases involving people being prosecuted for purposely injecting others in nightclubs with hiv infected needles.. just to be sure i would go and speak to a doctor or gu clinic...don't worry about your friends they're just being insensitive and need to understand how worried you are.. hope everything is ok

Hi, you havent done anything wrong at all
obviously if this is the case then your friends arent really good ones and i know that sounds horrible but its true, something like this is not a nice experience and they should be there for you.
however maybe you are just over reacting give it a week or so and see how it goes , if they are not talking to you then im sure there are some good friends just waiting for you.

Sounds like your friends are the ones with issues, not you. Maybe it's time to find people who actually care about your well being. You did nothing wrong. Your "friends" are just insensitive.
