I was a fool I was afraid of love but now I want her back.

A male United Kingdom age 30-35, *innyQ writes:

Me and my girlfried had been going out for about three months and she said she loved me. We are both young and I am aware that 'love' at our age can be looked on as unreal.

I'd been hurt in a past relationship involving love before and panicked. Before I knew it I'd broken things off. We both rebounded, her with her best friend, me with a total stranger.

I feel we are friends now and that there is no hard feelings held by her BUT... could it ever be possible for me to win her back after I hurt her so badly?

Thank you both for lending your time to my problem. And it's not all bad. We didn't get back together BUT she did forgive me. At least I can move on properly and enjoy being good friends with her. Thanks again.

I think it really depends on the girl. For some girls after being hurt, they automatically think... "He hurt me I deserve better.." and try to move on. But if you REALLY prove to her you need her, and since you did and still do love eachother she will. But a lot of guys I know claim that they will not hurt the girl again after getting back with her, and after a month, hurt her again. Just make sure you do not do this I wish you two the best. Good luck
