but if now then it seems like you haven't got closure on your last relationship so talk to your ex and explain and maybe express your feelings to him and agree that it's over and get closure

reader, anonymous, writes (4 April 2009): Give your heart time to heal. You might have jumped into this new relationship way too fast. Tell your partner that you want to slow down. You may be going way too fast. I have had a problem just like this. My boyfriend had just broke up with me and I was crushed. I jumped into my next relationship way too fast and it was a disaster. I couldn't kiss him without thinking of my ex. I told him that I wanted to slow down because I didn't feel right having sex just yet. Especially since I got into the relationship the very next week! We all make mistakes just remember not to rush into anything you don't want to.
