I like the sound of the book what the last poster mentioned. I once brought my man a map, yeah its sounds sad, but he loves all things like that, atlas's how to get from a - b, online maps and all that, satelite pics of the earth etc etc anyway, he wanted an atlas, I brought him one, I wrote in the front... " Where ever you may go, you can always find your way back to me, and I will always be here waiting for you, all my love always" Anyway he was really chuffed, so something along them lines would be cool, find something he is really into and personalise it a bit. its often the little things that mean the most!
Good luck!

1. A book (something he wanted to read)don't forget to sign in it... say something nice... like what you felt when you two first met... how you feel now... you could also say the exact things you mentioned in your question... it is reeeeeaaalllly adorable.
2. Maybe a thoughful tie... (in a color he likes... or something that you would love him in)
3. A cute pair of shorts or pyjamas (with prints he likes or you like)
4. Take him to a movie he wants to watch... plan the whole evening yourself and surprise him with tickets, flowers, dinner, music etc.
5. A card is a must! :)
6. A pen (fancy one... he will appreciate it)
Let us know if these ideas help... maybe you could tell us what he likes... we will try and come up with more :)

Hi there,
It's a bit hard to give you ideas when I don't personally know your boyfriend and as you said, you want to get him something meaningful and special. It is really sweet of you to be thinking of him in his way and to get him something 'to make him feel appreciated' - pat on the back to you!
Have a good, hard think about his passions, goals, what he is really into, what he aspires to etc and, if it helps, make a list so you can read back over it. That should give you a starting point.
Or if you don't want to get him a physical gift, a beautiful dinner out where he can order his favourite food, followed by a movie and a romantic walk is always a great way to show the one you love that you appreciate them.

Would he prefer a practical gift or something without a purpose? e.g. if he has an interest, or a hobby, or something he likes doing etc you could get him something related to that, show's you know what he would or wouldn't like, or if not, you could get him something romantic but that doesn't really have a practical purpose.
Don't forget a card with a little message in it! ;)
